    • Cape St. Francis was "discovered" first in the timeless classic "Endless Summer", but it's the right point break at Jeffreys Bay that now carries the honor as South Africa's best and most consistent spot - especially for tube riding. The Bay actually consists of a long string of separate breaks that occasionally connect for some of the longest rides on the planet. Starting furthest out around the point they include Boneyards, Supertubes, Impossibles, Tubes, Coins, Point, and Albatross.

Come prepared with a good wetsuit, the savvy to work your way through an always crowded and heavily localised lineup, and a complete lack of fear of the man in the gray suit, and you are pretty much guaranteed to have a blast at J-Bay. Another "must go" spot about which any hard core surf traveler would be proud to say "I surfed there!"
