This morning was classic Pumphouse madness. Chaotic in the best way. The mesmerized crowd of tourists and kooks mostly acted as pylons for Matt, Billy, Nicole, Herbie, Lauren, Britni, Nick, Nick, Nico, etc.
The tide peaked at around a quarter of 10:00, but only at 4.5'. After that he pace of things really picked up as the tide started to retreat. Too bad nobody had a radar gun or a speedometer on their board! Pretty sure I saw Nick D and Nico both hit 20mph+ several times, and on a slalom course at that!
Capturing it quite nicely for posterity were Phil Albritton and R.C. Dumper, and later on Tommy Campbell and Tammy grabbed their gear too. It was a great day for surfing and shooting!
